CLEARWATER, Fla. – The Clearwater Public Library System will host two Internet Safety Classes for parents only, Saturday, Jan. 24, 2 p.m. at the East Library and Sunday, Feb. 8, 2 p.m. at the Main Library.
Parents will learn ways to keep kids safe while on the Internet. Deputy Thomas Kelley of the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office will give the presentation.
Children will not be permitted to attend the class. The Clearwater East Library is located at 2251 Drew St. and the Clearwater Main Library is located at 100 N. CLEARWATER, Fla. – The Clearwater Main Library will host the Scholar's Choice lecture and discussion series Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2 p.m.
The first book discussion will feature Man of Property by John Galsworthy. Man of Property is the first book in the Forsyte Saga. Dr. Nancy Jane Tyson, University of South Florida Department of English, will lead the lecture and discussion. There will be two more lectures in the series on Feb. 11 and 25.
